It's the busy season. Holidays are coming. Family is coming. The end of the semester is coming. Winter is coming. With so much to do, I decided to jump into full avoidance mode and write a quick blog post.
I haven't posted anything in over two years! I also deactivated all my social media profiles. The reason? It was my birthday. It was a gift to myself. I have never given myself a nicer gift than getting off of social media. Maybe social platforms will turn into something I enjoy again one day, but I'm happy to be in my own little bubble with just my few people for awhile.
Did you know I teach fifth grade English language arts now? Of course not! I am a modern hermit. It's a joy to go to my job every day, even though it has kept me busy to the point of exhaustion. So, here is a list of other blog posts I will likely never get around to writing:

My Undying Faith in Public Education

Now I don't have to find that paper list because I've typed up everything I can remember here. Whew! Onward to seasonal prep. Happy holidays!
